Wow. I can say that for the first time in a long time I was wowed. In full disclosure the owner of this place is a friend of my boyfriends dad but I have never met him and this review is my honest reaction to the place without any bias. The set up and design of this tasting room is perfect. You feel like you are in a brew pub the second you walk in the door. Then the beer selection is phenomenal. By far one of the best porters I have had in a very long time. But don't stop there, order from the menu and whatever you do, get the homemade Mac and cheese! It has a slight kick to it that I wasn't expecting and my tastebuds have never been happier. Lastly the service was top notch. The bartender was so friendly and while she said they were short staffed Bc it was unusually busy for a Tuesday, I could never tell. She was fast and checked in with us while we were waiting for our food. To sum it all up, Diamond Bear brewing company made all the right decisions every step of the way.

My group tried everything on the menu. Awesome food! Shannon, our waitress was "Off the charts". The Southern Blonde beer is the best lighter one on tap was great. We will be back again. #NeverYield! Go Hogs!

I've always been an avid supporter of local places. However, my experience recently was horrible. I brought fifteen people for my birthday and was ignored for almost two hours. Their service is awful and inconsiderate. Very disappointed.

Diamond Bear's new restaurant is a great addition to downtown dining options!! Went last night and tried several things on the menu. All excellent. Didn't see anything on the menu that didn't sound delicious. Will definitely be back. Try this place...you won't be sorry!

A good place to enjoy a beer. The first time I went I took the tour and got the glass. I'd recommend doing that once just for kicks. Their beer is tasty and I like that it's a home grown product. I agree with a couple of other reviews in that sometimes the staff has the look of "I wish I wasn't working and you were getting your own damn beer."

Little Rock is SOO weird! This city is the icing on the incredibly confusing cake that is my adoptive home - Arkansas. Diamond Bear brings some "normal" to Arkansas. These folks are dead serious about having fun with beer and very good food. The brewery is a real gem. Good Merch, excellent pub menu (think Big Orange) and just terrific brews and service. My MacBook lid is sporting a handsome new "Diamond Bear" sticker thanks to the alert folks here, and I really appreciate it! The tasting room looks showroom new (even though in operation for over a year). Regulars arrive to fill hungry growlers and catch up with old friends. The Presidential IPA and Two Term are incredible. On this visit was able to try a bourbon barrel aged version of the Two Term, smashing! Service is tops. Swag is tops. Food is tops. Get in here!!

What better way to spend father's day than a free brewery tour followed by dinner? The brewery tour costs $7, and includes three beer samples and a souvenir glass at the end. My husband and I had toured the previous facility years ago, and decided father's day was perfect timing as they had free tours for all dads. The new building has a great atmosphere. The tour was informative, and the beers were pretty good. Although not on tap, they had an oatmeal stout we purchased - that was our favorite, yet I understand is seasonal. The food is beer food, yet a tad more upscale, and was tasty. A nice afternoon adventure, indeed!

So here's the deal.. I'm in the military and I travel alot. This place is a must if your in Little Rock, Arkansas. You know how you taste a beer and you find a reason not to like it? Not here. I am a blond or hefe guy.. and I ended up drinking there porter.. after trying all the beers. Plain and simple.. all their house brews are unreal. The food.. I've tried all of them.. and these wings.. hand down.. juiciest and most flavorful wings I've ever.. yes I said ever... had. Unreal. If you don't try this place and your in Little Rock you are an idiot.

I guess this is craft beer for people who don't like craft beer? The beer drinker who doesn't *want* to be associated with Budweiser/Miller culture...but secretly loves the taste of a cold High Life? Wish I could like any of their beers as I'm always happy to support a local place (especially an institution) but nothing stands out. The Two Term Double IPA seems the most promising of the bunch but I took a whiff and a taste and it's a bit musty, super sweet, light-moderate carbonation and no hop forwardness at all. The rest of the bunch range from mediocre to gross. The best thing going in the tap room is the Bloody Brew. Even with a cheap commercial bloody mary mix and their own Southern Blonde the pickled okra and spice blend make it doable and kinda tasty in a pinch. The food all seemed average -- exactly what I expected. We had to send the cold beans and rice back for a microwave nuking and the cheese dip is like just about every other cheese dip in Little Rock. The steak sandwich was definitely the best of the bunch but I don't think I'd go back...even for a decent enough steak sammie.

Fantastic Local Brewery!! This place a really good selection of local brews that you can't find too far outside of Arkansas. I'm a pale ale and wheat ale person and I only found one of the brews that I wasn't fond of, as I'm not a huge IPA lover. Not only is the beer good but THE FOOD!! Man was that a surprise. I've been three times and I always try something different. I have never left unhappy. That said, the food is definitely heavy, so don't show up expecting to find a huge low cal or heart healthy menu. It's comfort food, a little bit of grease helps soak up some alcohol though. ;) TRY THE FRIED CHEESE CURDS!! You won't be disappointed. There is an actual restaurant separate from the brewery, which is actually very nice inside. They have outdoor seating which is really nice during fall and spring, summer is WAAYYY to hot and humid in Arkansas to sit outside. The outside area is mostly covered and you can see through the lift doors into the actual brewery space. Our server brought out a baggo/cornhole set for anyone to use while outside. Pretty cool place, the staff is super friendly and pretty well educated on all they different brews and food. Check them out if you're in the Little Rock/North Little Rock area. Great local business.

Love this brewery/pub. Short walk from Dicky Stephens Baseball field and 2 mins from Main St, North Little Rock in a nice, well kept area. Gets really busy so parking can be a challenge sometimes. Lovely covered patio area. You enter into an area where they sell all the various beers, a nice little store. Go through the store and it is split into 4 rooms: 2 smaller, intimate rooms and one with 2 dartboard's if you fancy throwing some arrows. The main room with a bar is a good size. The L shaped bar has room for about 15 people and there are 4 or 5 smaller tables scattered around. A couple of small tv's on the walls. A great selection of their beers on tap, around 10 I think, and even Strongbow Cider (it's a British thing). They do a great flight of 4 beers of your choice if you want to sample some and will also give you a small glass if you just want to taste before you buy. Nice selection of food: I had a club sandwich with chips that was delicious. Very friendly staff. The couple of times I have been it was an older crowd but I have not gone on a weekend so that may be different. Just a great vibe about the place which I'm sure will become one of my main places to frequent in the future.

Started dinner with some fried cheese curds. Unlike many of the fried cheese curds I've sampled in Wisconsin, these are battered and fried, and the outcome is an impressive pillowed-puff of cheese worth tasting when visiting this brewhouse. The main meal was a veggie sandwich, opted with a German-style potato salad. The veggie sandwich is a nice balance between the sweetness of the house fig spread and natural saltiness of grilled vegetables. The bread packaged this sandwich perfectly -- crusty on the outside and airy on the inside -- not too bread-y, which can aggressively overcome a veggie sandwich if this detail is not carefully considered during its construction. The warm German potato salad is an unexpected, and very pleasant, contrast to the crisp sandwich - worth the extra $2 for the tasting adventure. This would've been a 5-star visit if they had bottled root beer for me to bring home--ah well! A shout-out to Rodney for excellent service and making our first visit to this microbrewery worth the trip!

Try the potato salad and the root beer. The best I've ever tasted! I got the steak sandwich and Dad got the Rueben. Both were really great! The view is great and we will def be back.

Great beer nice people good food doesn't get any better. Every time we've been here we've tried new foods and new beers all are outstanding.

Clean and friendly. Great service and really good brews. I sat at the bar on a warm Sunday afternoon with a flight of four of NINE Diamond Bear brews on tap and an order of fried cheese curds. Muy bueno, friends! Amazingly to me the Arkansas Ale House also had an offering from a competitor on the other side of the Arkansas River. So, a pint of Shamus (oatmeal stout) from Stone's Throw Brewery was a perfect pairing for a reuben with homemade potato salad to enjoy a day two blocks away from the Arkansas Travelers AA baseball stadium. What else? Three TVs with a variety of sports, growlers and canned beers to-go, indoor and outdoor seating at tables and booths and the bar, ample parking, a gift shop, and a pet-friendly shaded patio makes this one of my new favorites! And if beer is one of your life's mysteries, tours are offered every day.

Third time I have been here (out of four) that they have been out of pretzels. A bit of a surprise today as the chalk board for specials has pretzel on it. Seriously the waiter said (regarding pretzels) we get a big order then when we are out we order some more. Might they consider a par level to trigger an order BEFORE they run out??? El Cubano went a long way to get my mind off that. Southern Blonde placated me. If you are in the mood for pretzel CALL AHEAD!

Waitress / customer service was awesome but they were our of pretzels, brats, Mac and cheese, steak sandwiches, root beer, and 2 term IPA. We also ordered the artichoke dip based on the vegetarian ingredients listed then when we asked the waitress she later reported it did have bacon & that was left off menu. Very unacceptable for those of us who choose items based on what is vegetarian. Very promising spot but need to get the kinks worked out especially listing what is actually IN the menu items.

Really enjoyed my stop here... love to sample local brews when I'm travelling and this one was nice. Went on a recommendation from the hotel bartender; and she was right, "wish they carried the beers on tap". I hate going to places and the only draft beer offered is from InBev (Barf!). I think they still have some room for improvement, as they are not quite up to West Coast craft beer standards, but definitely on the right track. I hope they get more widely distributed around the state and the country.

Love the space, beer is great, service needs allot of improvment. Each time I've gone here with a group they have maybe one menu that expect all 11 of us to share, then when we ask questions the wait staff doesn't know the answer and the vibe I get from the staff is a little of the "either "oh shit I shouldn't just smoked that bowl I have no idea what's going on now!" or "I'm grumpy and stuck at work"...which I can understand, but does dull down the experiance a tad. All said great place and beer, good times. Just a little growing pains at the momment.
